For optimum preparation, you will work in all areas of the Production department, including Quality Control, Microbiology and Operating Technology. Under professional supervision, you will operate equipment used for technical chemical production and processing procedures. You will also take part in servicing and maintenance. This way, you will learn how to monitor and manage the entire production process. From around three to six months before you take your final examination, you then work completely in your focal department — whether in filling or on the front line in paint and lacquer production.
If you have a good general or secondary school qualification, you’re right for us. If you do well in your training, you will then have the opportunity to complete further training to become a Chemical Technician in our specialist departments.
