Are you interested in automation and have good manual skills? Then the Machine and Plant Operator apprenticeship gives you the best prospects for the future! 

For optimum preparation, you will work in all areas of the Production department, including Quality Control, Microbiology and Operating Technology. In this profession, you set up manufacturing machinery and equipment, put it into operation and master the management and monitoring of the entire production process. Retooling our machinery is also part of your field of duty, like maintenance. From around three to six months before you take your final examination, you will  then work completely in your focal department — whether in filling or on the front line in paint and lacquer production.

    Chemicals Production Specialist

    Do you find nothing more exciting that learning about the latest technologies and machinery? Then the Chemicals Production Specialist apprenticeship gives you the best prospects for the future! 

    For optimum preparation, you will work in all areas of the Production department, including Quality Control, Microbiology and Operating Technology. Under professional supervision, you will operate equipment used for technical chemical production and processing procedures. You will also take part in servicing and maintenance. This way, you will learn how to monitor and manage the entire production process. From around three to six months before you take your final examination, you then work completely in your focal department — whether in filling or on the front line in paint and lacquer production.

    If you have a good general or secondary school qualification, you’re right for us. If you do well in your training, you will then have the opportunity to complete further training to become a Chemical Technician in our specialist departments.

      Paint Laboratory Technician

      Do you enjoy scientific subjects such as physics and chemistry and do you have good mathematical knowledge? Then you will really enjoy the Paint Laboratory Technician apprenticeship!

      Your future job requires creativity because you produce new lacquers and paints, the formulas and methods for which you develop independently. To become familiar with the multi-faceted job profile of Lacquer Laboratory Assistant, you will work in departments including Research and Development, Quality Control, Microbiology and Application Technology. You carry out measurements and tests and interpret, analyse and document the results using electronic data processing. At the same time, you will learn how to formulate, manufacture, apply and test coatings and coating materials in various systems.

      This will give you exciting in-depth knowledge of lacquer-specific and paint-specific raw materials such as bonding agents, pigments, fillers, solvents and additives. You will use different tools to learn different application techniques, e.g. scraping tools, brushes, rollers and spray guns.

You also identify and resolve system defects and protect databases against unauthorised access and loss. Your training also includes providing consultancy services and user training.

        Management Assistanty
        for Marketing Communication

        Do you find joy in creativity, text and communication and do you have a special flair for visual design? Then you can put your skills to good use in the Management Assistant for Marketing Communication apprenticeship!

        You will gain real special knowledge in your field: You monitor and analyse markets, for example, define target groups, and develop communication concepts based on these results. At the same time, you learn to plan, calculate and monitor project budgets. Among all your creativity, you must always keep one eye on the figures, of course. For example, you calculate how much a campaign costs and how expensive individual media are, and check whether the cost and benefit are right.

          The most special feature: With this practical, future-looking training, you will obtain three qualifications: The Industrial Management Assistant apprenticeship, the Business Economist business diploma and, after one further semester at the University of Applied Sciences Münster alongside your work, the Bachelor of Arts.           From around six months before you take your final Industrial Management Assistant examination, you then work completely in your focal department — based on your individual strengths and skills. From around six months before you take your final examination, you then work completely in your focal department,  based on your individual strengths and skills.
