In October 2018, J.W. Ostendorf became part of the decorative segment of the Hempel Group. The global coatings solutions company thus made decorative its largest segment and generated one third of its total turnover in this sector in 2020. With its strong presence in Europe, Oceania and the Middle East, the decorative segment has a unique structure that will guarantee active growth of one billion euros by 2025.
With J.W. Ostendorf, Crown Paints, Farrow & Ball, Renaulac and Wattyl, Hempel sets strong trends and emphasises features in the decorative segment all over the world — both in the retail market for DIY enthusiasts and the trade market for professionals.
